Søren Dahlgaard is an artist based in Copenhagen, Denmark. While many would likely categorize him as an installation artist, Dahlgaard’s work actually encompasses other mediums like sculpture, painting and photography. His Portrait Paintings (featured above) and his Dough Portraits are fun, visually interesting and make use of sopping materials to comment on the pliability of identity. What makes Dahlgaard so unique is his ability to create really playful and engaging art that is rich with commentary. He’s also done some off the wall projects where he’s created breathing walls and ran through paint then karate kicked pieces of hung paper to make paintings with his feet. You can’t deny his radness! We encourage you to visit his site and go through his projects- he’s making some interesting stuff.
