Vania Zouravliov is a Russian-born illustrator that creates tonal drawings that take their cues from the work of Alphonse Mucha and Aubrey Beardsley. Highly detailed and incredibly technical, Zouravliov’s work is ornate and often possesses thematic darkness. While his work references the style of other artists, Zouravliov’s work is by no means pastiche- he’s incorporated a ton of contemporary elements into his work which has given it its own legs to stand on.
