Annabel Mehran is an editorial photographer based in New York City. Having shot for a range of publications, Mehran creates beautiful portraits that always elevate the human form. What’s most interesting about her work is how she often references the past in a visual manner- achieved by pairing old-style wardrobe with classic locations (heightened by the coloring of her images), her use of soft focus and casting subjects that tend to look like they’re from an earlier era.
