Hard Workers Club, Parts & Crafts, Tourisms and The Thousands have joined forces to organize the inaugural International Photography Festival and IPF Photo Prize 2012, a week-long programme of events to be held in Melbourne, Australia from Monday, April 2nd through Sunday, April 8th 2012, designed - and aiming - to celebrate and highlight the best of what independent and autonomous photographers and creatives have to offer. As such, the IPF has instituted an open call for entries (which must be received by Thursday, March 1st 2012). Please read the Terms and Conditions here before completing the submission form here. Accepted submissions will be exhibited salon-style, and works will be available for purchase via silent auction (with all proceeds of sales being given to the photographer). In addition, the festival will be juried (and will also feature a People’s Choice Award) so participants can prospectively win awards. IPF Photo Prize 2012 is a really exciting event, and we encourage you to participate by submitting your photography and helping spread the word.
