Tell Us #9- Jeff Hamada is a Vancouver-based visual artist, and the founder of Booooooom; one of the largest arts-focused blogs on the internet. As a visual artist, Hamada produces illustration-driven works that combine typography, playful themes and a penchant for bright colors that are often washed out- present within both his personal work and his commissioned work which he has done for clients like Converse, Oakley and Electronic Arts. Booooooom, which Hamada singlehandedly runs, is inarguably one of the best curated art websites around- which explains why it receives 3.2 million pageviews each month. Booooooom is an incredible source for learning about emerging artists- which is why you should be reading it daily like we do! Jeff Hamada is a quintessential contemporary artist which is why we’re glad to have him participate in this week’s installment of Tell Us (where we ask peers about their current fixations).
