Tourist Book Report #12- Papirmasse is a subscription that delivers a print with art on the front and writing back to subscribers’ mailboxes every month for a mere $5 per month. Founded by Montreal-based artist Kirsten McCrea in 2008 and produced with the support of Maison Kasini, Papirmasse showcases an original image on archival paper by a fresh new artist each month. Since the art dictates the format, Papirmasse can range from being  a 5” x 7” accordion folded booklet, to a 6” x 9” reversible book folded down from a single huge sheet of paper, to an 18” x 24” double-sided poster to beyond. It’s an awesome endeavor and the issues are beautiful; you’d basically be a fool to pass up on scoring art this inexpensive!
